The Bible teaches us in Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” The reality is that there is an enemy of God and man who is against all that the kingdom of God stands for. His intent is to deprive God of His praise and glory among the nations by silencing God’s church. He works subtly in darkness and deceit to divert God’s people from their calling to declare the great salvation of God through His Son, Jesus Christ; so that His name is praised among the nations.
I would like to challenge you to be a part of these sermons in our morning service as we expose the lies of Satan as to why Christians should not engage in Missions. You will discover that the victory of God’s people over the lies of Satan is rooted in God’s character, won for us by Christ’s resurrection, and manifested by the Spirit’s indwelling presence in His church.
Let’s not set in our affluence and ignore what is really going on around us in the spiritual realm. There is a real battle to fight, and it cannot be won in the power of the flesh. We need the power of God on our side if we are to win the Battle for God’s Glory Among the Nations.
