The Purpose: Awana is about fun and fellowship with a spiritual purpose behind it. Our purpose in Awana at Parkway is to assist your child in understanding and experiencing the love of God, and equipping them to serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Mission: To evangelize and disciple children for the glory of Christ.
AWANA stands for: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed
II Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
The Awana program runs with the school year. We begin club in September and run through May, with two weeks off for Christmas and one week off for Easter. Club time is 6:30 - 8:15 on Wednesday nights. All children are welcome. Call the church office for information at 706-866-0325.
Our AWANA is committed to glorify God and serve Christ by:
